This is a view of Maol Riadh Mountain, the highest in Conaught, with a dusting of snow. Yes, we do have snow here from time to time, right down to sea level, which last occurred during Christmas  2000, when this photo was taken. At this time of year the weather can be very unpredictable, with substantial fluctuations in temperature, wind-speed/direction, all in a matter of a few hours. The skies can be breathtaking when everything comes together; you will never be bored watching the weather changing!!
